Gitga’at Hosting Rally - NO TO ENBRIDGE

The following message is from Jennifer Rice in Prince Rupert and a poster for the rally is attached.
The Gitga’at are hosting a rally in Prince Rupert to say No to Enbridge’s oil pipelines and supertanker project on Saturday Feb 4th. This is the day before the annual All Native Basketball Tournament. There are some great musicians coming including Ta Kaiya Blaney. There will be thousands of First Nation basketball players, their coaches and families from across the Province and Alaska in attendance. I think this is likely to be the largest rally about this particular project we will see to date. With players from North Vancouver to Alaska the “First Nations wall of opposition” will literally be physically represented in one location.
